I have a passion for painting and creating art. My aim is to make you stop, look, smile and think.

My main focus is portraiture and figurative art. I love to capture a look, a mood or a moment in time.  It is also a desire of mine to include some history relevant to the subject within a portrait painting.  However, I enjoy the challenge of every genre that is put before me and consider myself to be a versatile artist with the ability to rise to my own high expectations.

I consider my style to be contemporary and representational, with colour and design playing an important role in my work. As I have always had a passion for interiors and pattern, these details will often come together in appealing forms within my paintings.

Acrylic paint is my preferred medium as I find it extremely versatile and easy to use. I also enjoy experimenting with oils, pastels, watercolour, pencil and collage.

I hope you enjoy viewing my work and would welcome any comments you may have via email. If you would like to commission a piece of work, please contact me via the Contact page of this website in order to discuss your requirements.
